The Questions
1) Friends and Family: A Book with Characters that Feel Like Family

—The Clockwork Angel. This book series has amazing characters that feel like family to me. Whenever they say something funny I’m like “oh yeah, that’s so Will…” or “Aww my beautifully sweet Jem..” and I get super excited to see them again when they appear in other books by Casandra Clare.
2) Fallen Leaves: A Book that Fell Flat (didn’t meet your expectations)

—The Ninth House. I know a lot of people enjoyed this book, but it was not as good as I wanted it to be. I still finished it and can appreciate it, but it just wasn’t totally for me.
3) Thanksgiving Dinner: A Book You Want to Read Every Year During This Season

—-Harry Potter. Whenever it starts getting cold and dark, I get in the mood to reread Harry Potter. It’s my light in the darkness.
4) Turkey: A Book With a Bird in It

—-Falling Kingdoms. This series has a bird on every cover because the Hawks are shape- shifting protectors of the realm. These books feel long, but I actually really enjoyed them!
5) Ham: A Book that Made Your Eyes Glaze Over (Boring)

—-Eragon. I couldn’t get through this book. There were just too many pointless, long descriptions. I feel bad because I know that this series is really well-done, but I found the writing style so boring!
6) Dinner Rolls: A Book that Melted Your Heart and Made You Feel Warm

—-Geekerella. This book was sweet and adorable! I actually teared up at the end because it was so heart- warming!
7) Mashed Potatoes: A Book With a White Cover

—-American Royals. I’m reading this book right now, and I’m really enjoying it!
8) Gravy: A Book You’re not Totally Sure Why You Love, but You Do

—-The Selection. The characters were meh for me, the plot was basic, and I didn’t feel like I cared about these books. But I flew through reading all 5 of them and really enjoyed the read!
9) Pumpkin Pie: A Dessert Book That You Love

—-The Kiss Quotient. My romantic books are often by dessert reads that break up the massive number of dark series that I read. This book was adorably amazing, and I loved reading it!
Bonus: Black Friday: The Top 5 Books on Your “I want to buy them” List

—hmmm this is a hard one. There’s just so many!
- The Starless Sea
- The Serpent and the Dove
- 10 Blind Dates
- A Curse so Dark and Lonely
- We Set the Dark on Fire
