The Coffee Book Tag

I have a confession. I am not a coffee person. I dislike it- although I know that if I try to start drinking it, then I would develop a mild addiction to it! I don’t know if that makes sense, but that’s me!

That being said, I was thrilled to be tagged in this super fun, creative tag by Rose @ Wanders Between Pages, I was excited because I feel like this is a fun, creative tag that I can’t wait to complete! Thank you Rose for the tag! She found this tag from Sumedha at The Wordy Habitat.

Black: Name a series that’s tough to get into, but has hardcore fans.

A Darker Shade of Magic by V. E. Schwab. I actually enjoyed this book, but it took me a while to get to that point. I immediately fell in love with the idea, but I didn’t immediately love the characters or writing. Truthfully, I never finished this series 😬

Peppermint Mocha: Name a book that gets more popular during the winter or festive time of year.

This year, it seemed to be A Wedding in December by Sarah Morgan. I saw this book everywhere! I finally decided to read it, and it was enjoyable!

Hot Chocolate: What is your favorite children’s book?

Percy Jackson and the Olympians series by Rick Riordan. I grew up reading these books, and I love them so much!

Double Shot of Espresso: Name a book that kept you on the edge of your seat from start to finish.

Kingdom of Ash by Sarah J Maas. This book as gigantic, but I was never bored. Such a good conclusion!

Starbucks: Name a book you see everywhere.

Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling. I’m not saying that it’s a bad thing, I adore everything about Harry Potter, but it is everywhere! It’s one of those series that even non-books people have read!

That Hipster Coffee Shop: Give a book by an Indie author a shout-out.

Ummm truthfully, I guess I’m not hipster because I can’t think of any books I’ve read by an Indie author… sorry guys! Please let me know your favorite book by an indie author in the comments!

Oops! I Accidentally Got Decaf: Name a book you were expecting more from.

The Hating Game by Sally Thorne. I saw this book everywhere, and it had amazing reviews. But I did not really like it. It grew on me, but barely…

The Perfect Blend: Name a book or series that has both bitter and sweet but is ultimately satisfying.

Heartless by Marissa Meyer. This book was such a roller coaster! There were so many ups and downs, and the “satisfying” ending was mostly satisfying because of how wonderfully Meyer created the story.
