Hello everyone! Today I’ve decided to celebrate October with a Halloween Book Tag! I found this tag over at Reading in the Wildwood, and they adapted it from Bookable’s YouTube channel. Thanks for sharing your tag!
Ok, I’m going to dive right into the spooky questions (well not too spooky because I’m totally a wimp and hate scary things 😂😬).
Carving Pumpkins- What book would you carve up and light on fire?
Ooo, unpopular opinion alert… I would carve up and burn The Hating Game. I thought this book was weird, creepy, and I greatly disliked it. Sorry for everyone who liked it, but it’s not for me!

Trick or Treat- What character is a treat? What character is a trick?
Hmm well I recently finished both American Royals books, so I’m saying that Samantha is a treat and Daphne is a trick. That seems fitting!
Candy Corn- What book is always sweet?
Simon Vs the Homo Sapiens Agenda! Everyone in this book (well mostly) is just precious, and this book was so sweet and amazing!

Ghosts- What character would you love to visit you as a ghost?
Ooo, I feel like Ximena from Woven in Moonlight would be a fun ghost to have around because she could say all her sassy comments, protect you if necessary, and I’m hoping her moon-spun creatures would follow her around too- which would look so cool!
Dressing Up in a Costume- What character would you want to be for a day?
I would like to be Karina from A Song of Wraiths and Ruin for a day. I would love to visit this world, and being Karina would give me enough power to fully explore everything while also not getting bored with her life like she has.
Wizard and Witches- What is your favorite Harry Potter moment?
That’s a tough one, honestly I just love picturing/ seeing Hogwarts during Christmas. I am such a holiday person, and I adore the trees, decorations, and snow!

Blood and Gore- What book was so creepy that you had to take a break from it?
Well as I said at the start, I am not someone who likes reading creepy books. The scariest book I’ve read recently that I actually had to take breaks from because it totally creeped me out and I couldn’t fall asleep was Ninth House. The ghosts were terrifying to me!
There you have it! I hope you enjoyed this tag! Feel free to participate if you’d like to! Link to my post so I can see your answers!

This is such a fun tag! Completely agree with your Harry Potter moment – I always loved how Christmas at Hogwarts was described in the books, and the movies did a great job with it too!
