Unspoilery Blurb
The Rivera sisters, Dani and Eden, are both trained to kill dragons, but while Eden lives her life to be a dragon hunter, Dani longs for a more normal life. When Dani meets a dragon and is soul-bonded with him, she starts to wonder if there is more to the story than hatred between dragons, dragon hunters, and sorcerers. But Eden ends up on the other side of the conflict when she is seduced by a powerful sorceress who strives to destroy all dragons.
Unspoilery Review
What a fun book! This was such an exciting, sweet fantasy story! While it was not the most gorgeously written book I’ve ever read, it was fun, relatable, and realistic with a ton of magic. I loved how magic and dragons were brought into the real world, and it was just so captivating.
I love the sister to sister bond that existed in this book. They were both so well written and I really could feel their passions and fears and desires and interests and I loved that. As the plot thickens and problems started occurring, I enjoyed the sisters still fighting for one another. The characters were so fun, and I loved the dragons.
The magical elements were really exciting. They were somehow both simple and thoroughly thought out. I love getting to know the sorcerer’s and all the magic that they could do, and I found it fascinating how sorcerers are made. I enjoyed unraveling the mysteries of sorcery and dragons and soul bonds with our characters.
Overall this book was just a joy to read. I got into it really quickly and I never want to stop reading it. It was enthralling, exciting, and sweet. I would recommend this book for people who are new to fantasy or just love fantasy books especially ones with more relatable Characters and the Fantasy elements. Read this if you want a magical book that talks about familial expectations, mental health, love, and jealousy.
